About Me

Welcome to Ray’s Blog at RedHotClicks.com.  The purpose of this blog is to provide redhotclicks.com members with relevant information about Traffic Exchanges, Internet Marketing, and other topics related to online business.  On occasion, I will also rant or rave about particular issues.  That’s what blogs are for after all :)

RayAs for me, I have a background in both the technology and online business sectors.  I retired in 2003 after a 30+ career in the Information Technology field.  I have been a programmer, systems analyst, database administrator, network weenie, website developer, manager of a website for an organization with 10,000 people, and IT Architect.  My official title at the time of my retirement was Director of Information Technology Architecture and Planning.  And before you ask, the answer is NO, I don’t have a clue what that title meant.  Except that when things went wrong in our IT environment I was the one that got the calls.  I don’t miss that.

I currently run several online businesses, including redhotclicks.com.  Prior to that, in the early 90’s, I ran a highly successful online business using Bulletin Board Service (BBS) technology.  This was before the World Wide Web of course.  But even back then in the prehistoric days, there were those of us earning significant money online.  When it comes to anything related to online, I’ve pretty much “been there, done that”.

I’ve had two print books published, as well as numerous magazine articles.  In 2006, I also took my first shot at an ebook.  I figured the 20 bazillion ebooks that were out there at the time just weren’t enough so I decided to throw one more into the mix.

I’ve given lectures and seminars all over the country on topics related to technology and online business.  It’s been an interesting life to say the least.

Now, when I’m not working on one of my online projects, I spend my time fishing, gardening, cooking, and generally enjoying life with my wonderful wife Jennifer.
