1. Is Red Hot Clicks Truly Free?

Absolutely! Free members have access to all the same features as Pro and Deluxe members. The only difference is that your view ratio, signup credits, and number of URLs and banners allowed in rotation will be less, and the cost for a credit package is slightly more.

1. I have registered for your exchange, but I have not yet received an activation email.

Generally, many ISP providers will filter emails from services such as ours. Please be sure to add our .com email address to your safe list to ensure you receive our activation email as well as our updates, newsletters, and the possible need for us to contact you directly. It is also a part of our terms of service that you accept our emails or your account may be subject to suspension.

2. I registered and activated my account, but my account still shows inactive.

You must view at least ten (10) pages on our exchange to be active. After registration and activation via email, you should view 10 pages within the rotator before attempting to assign credits, refer others, etc. You must also view at least 10 pages every 14 days to maintain your active status

3. What is this Dynamic View Ratio thing?

Our Dynamic View Ratio allows you to obtain more credits for your target URLs based on how many sites you view. The more you view, the higher your credit per view ratio. For a full explanation of dynamic view ratios check our "Features" section

I'm having problems logging into my account

The most common reason for login problems is related to cookies. Make sure your browser or firewall does not block cookies. If need be, you can always reset your browser/firewall after you logout of redhotclicks.

When the surfbar says I've earned .5 credits, why doesn't the total credits on the surfbar increment by the same amount?

Depending on your membership level, a certain percentage of your view credits are automatically assigned (autoassign) to your target links. Rest assured, you are receiving all the credits you should. The Total Credits displayed in the surfbar does not include your autoassigned credits. However, if you go to "Your Sites", you will see that credits have been distributed to your target links. Your non-assigned credits go into your credit pool which you may distribute across your sites any way you want.

Why was my target website rejected

Your website name should not contain any spaces or special characters, otherwise an error message will be displayed. In addition, if your site contains frame breakers or other such devices, it will not pass the validation test.

What size banners are allowed?

Banners put into rotation should be 468x60. Accepted formats are .jpg and .gif

Why are some domains not allowed in the system?

Various domains are set up to break out of frames when viewed. Some email domains do not receive email properly. If a domain causes a violation of our Terms Of Use, it has been added to our banned Domains list.

What happens if I run out of credits?

Once you run out of credits your page is no longer displayed. You can either start to earn more credits for free by viewing the pages of other members, or you can purchase credits directly from the site at a very affordable price.

How fast are my credits used up?

The time it will take to use up your credits will vary greatly depending on: the number of members in the system, the amount of traffic they are generating, and the speed at which you are earning credits to replace those used up.

How come I never see my own site(s) in rotation?

You do not want to waste credits looking at your own site do you? You will never see your own site, but rest assured 1000's of other members will.

Are my sites seen immediately by other members?

No. In order to ensure compliance with our Terms of Service, all sites are first reviewed by Admin. This is usually done within 12-24 hours, and most times less than that. Once approved, your sites are placed into rotation
